Whose Your Daddy?

If you want the confidence and courage to create ANYTHING with NO MONEY you got to know who yo’ Daddy is. Because it takes confidence and courage to step out and believe and trust that what you need is going to be there when you need it. If there is anyone out there reading this blog and you were brought up without the nurturing of a good Dad raise your hand. Or maybe you knew someone who was raised without a good Dad and you saw first hand what they went through. I was raised with both my mother and father in the home but I’m sitting here raising both my hands!

Check out what government statistics say about the importance of fathers being involved with their children:

NATIONAL RESPONSIBLE FATHERHOOD CLEARINGHOUSE
“When fathers are involved in the lives of their children, especially their education, their children learn more, perform better in school, and exhibit healthier behavior. Even when fathers do not share a home with their children, their active involvement can have a lasting and positive impact. There are countless ways to be involved in your child’s education at all ages.”

I hear your brain asking, “What in the world does this have to do with creating anything with NO MONEY?” Well, if you were raised by a loving, attentive Dad you’re farther along then you think. Strong Dad’s help you overcome fear. You ever hear somebody say, “I’m gonna tell my Daddy?” That brought fear into the heart of your adversary. If my mother told me my Dad was gonna give me a ‘woopin I immediately changed my ways.

My point is, the foundation for your confidence and courage was laid when you were young. But even in the best of family circumstances there can still be gaps in your ability to take a ‘calculated risk’. Maybe you had a loving Dad but he was overprotective and bred a fear of risk into your mind. None of our situations were perfect.

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you get adopted into a new family. God becomes your Heavenly Father. Just like your earthly father you now get to us His name. You now inherit all that is His: He’s All Powerful, His word never changes, He always does what He says, He teaches us whatever we need to know, He’s always with us….

So if you lack courage and confidence you better re-check your ‘birth certificate’!
